Emergency Leak Response and Temporary Dry-In
When water is entering living space, the first job is to protect the interior and stabilize the roof. Tarping or temporary dry-in goes on when weather, access and safety allow, and permanent repair follows when materials and conditions permit.
A tarp over the wrong slope does not help a wall flashing leak, so even emergency work starts with a look.
Prolonged leaks can reach insulation and drywall and raise mold risk. We fix the roof assembly. Finish repair inside may need separate trades, and stopping the water first keeps that bill from growing.

Storm-related roof repair may involve insurance. We document damage honestly, and on a covered claim you pay your deductible. That is it.
