Fiberglass Pools in Mississippi
65 Latham shell styles. Factory-finished gelcoat. Local dig, set, deck and startup by the Dickerson crew, not a catalog and a sub list.

In the yard
Fiberglass Pools Built for Central Mississippi
A fiberglass pool in this climate has to handle heat, humidity, clay soil that swells and shrinks, and the occasional hard freeze. The shell is factory molded, gel-coated and trucked to the yard as one piece. That is different from a concrete pour that cures on site for weeks and then waits for finish work.
DC Pools & Spas is the Dickerson family pool division. Same ownership, same jobsite habits that built the roofing name: one crew, written scope, no handoff to a sub you never meet. We dig, set, plumb, deck and start up genuine Latham fiberglass pools across Brandon, Flowood, Jackson, Madison, Pearl, Ridgeland, Clinton and Vicksburg.
We do not run a retail showroom for chemicals or above-ground kits. We focus on new inground fiberglass installs and the Latham styles we set. Start at DC Pools & Spas for ledges, spas, financing and outdoor living.
Most of our work still comes from word of mouth. Same family standards on every pool install.

Every shell, one table
Sizes, Depths and Gallons at a Glance
Every shell we install, with its real footprint, shallow and deep ends, and gallons. Skim the first rows or open the whole table; either way the site visit confirms what your yard will actually take.
DC Pools & Spas installs genuine Latham fiberglass shells. Across the line we sell, published water depths run from about 3' in the shallow end to 8'6" in the deepest models (Synergy Grand reaches 8'6"). Shallow ends span roughly 3' to 4'10". That range is why a site visit matters: the right shell is the one that fits the lot, the setbacks and how the family actually swims.
Size classes in the current catalog: 10 compact (under ~260 sq ft of surface), 29 midsize, and 27 large. Compact shells fit tight side yards and courtyards. Midsize is the Brandon-area family pool. Large leaves room to swim and entertain.

Why Latham
Why Homeowners Choose Latham Fiberglass
Latham is a major fiberglass manufacturer. We show 65 shell styles we install from the line: rectangles, freeforms, plunge pools and kidney shapes. Size runs compact to large, so the first filter is almost always yard access and setbacks rather than a pretty photo alone.
Factory finish means the interior color and surface are set before the shell leaves the plant. Crystite Crystal and Classic lines cover colors such as Sapphire Blue, Ocean Blue, Night Sky, Shale Gray, Coastal Bronze and Pearl or Whisper White. You pick finish with the model, not as a field plaster decision months later.
Compared with many concrete timelines, a fiberglass path is shorter once the hole is ready and the shell is on site. Weather still rules Mississippi dirt work. Clay, rain and access can stretch a schedule, and we say so on the quote rather than promising a calendar we cannot keep.
Plunge Pools for Smaller Yards
Plunge models (Milan and Enchantment) are compact fiberglass shells for yards that will not take a full family rectangle. Enchantment includes a built-in tanning ledge. Milan is a clean compact plunge with swim-up seating and a wading area.
Latham also markets vinyl plunge products nationally. We do not. Fiberglass plunge only.
If a full pool will not fit your access or setbacks, start with the plunge styles below, then we measure the lot before anyone orders a shell.

Tanning Ledges, Spas and Finish Options on the Shell
Fourteen Latham models carry a tanning ledge and eight carry a built-in spa option. The ledge is molded into the shell, typically around 10 inches of water depth on the shelf, so it is not a field add-on after the crane leaves. See pool tanning ledges.
Add-on fiberglass spa shells (Regal, Royal, Shasta, classic or spillover) pair with most pool layouts. Details on spas. Standalone retail hot tubs and above-ground pools are not what this division sells.
Pick the shell that fits access first. Then match ledge, spa and finish to how you actually use the water.

Mississippi Soil, Access and Climate Realities
Central Mississippi soil moves with moisture. Base preparation under a fiberglass shell is not optional theater. A shell sitting on poorly prepared ground will show it in level and in deck joints over time.
Access kills more dream models than price does. A large rectangle that looks perfect on paper is useless if it cannot clear the gate, the power line or the neighbor fence. We measure that route before you put a deposit on a specific shell.
Summer heat and humidity mean covers, chemistry and equipment sizing matter for comfort and upkeep. Winter freezes are less dramatic than northern states but still real enough to plan equipment protection and winter habits.
The full dig-to-startup sequence with job photos lives in the install story below. Permits, shell lead time, clay and weather still sit on the total calendar, and we put real dates on the quote.

What moves the number
Pricing, Quotes and What Moves the Number
Two yards five miles apart can quote very differently for the same shell. Six things drive a fiberglass pool price here:
Model size
Bigger shells cost more to buy, ship, crane and surround with deck.
Access
The crane path, the gate and the power lines decide what your yard can even take.
Deck area
Concrete or pavers around the shell are usually the second-biggest line.
Equipment package
Pump, filter, automation, heater and lighting scale with how you want to use the water.
Ledge and spa options
Molded ledges and add-on spa shells move the number with the model choice.
Dirt work
Clay, grade and spoil hauling vary lot to lot, and Mississippi dirt gets a vote.
You get one written quote after the site visit, broken out so you can see where the money goes. That is the number you are billed against, with change orders only when you change scope or the ground forces a real change we document with you.
National package ads that skip your setbacks and crane path are not useful. Local install cost comes from standing in your yard.

Common questions
Do you install genuine Latham fiberglass pools?
Yes. DC Pools & Spas is an authorized Latham builder. We install factory molded Latham shells start to finish across central Mississippi.
Which shell styles do you show on this line?
We present 65 fiberglass shell styles: rectangles, freeforms, plunge and kidney shapes. Depths and gallons sit in the dimension table below. The right model is the one that fits access, setbacks and how you swim.
How deep are fiberglass pools?
Published shallow ends run roughly 3 feet 0 inches to 4 feet 10 inches. Deep ends run roughly 4 feet 0 inches to 8 feet 6 inches, with Synergy Grand among the deepest at about 8.5 feet. Exact depths are model specific on the dealer sheet and in the dimension table below.
Can I add a tanning ledge later?
Not on a fiberglass shell. Ledges are molded into select models, so you choose the ledge with the pool. About 14 models offer a ledge option.
Do you install vinyl plunge pools?
No. Plunge options we install (Milan and Enchantment) are fiberglass only. We do not sell a vinyl plunge line.
What finish colors can I choose?
Factory Crystite Crystal and Classic lines cover colors such as Sapphire Blue, Ocean Blue, Night Sky, Shale Gray, Coastal Bronze and Pearl or Whisper White. Finish is chosen with the model, not as field plaster later.
Which cities do you serve for fiberglass installs?
Brandon, Flowood, Jackson, Madison, Pearl, Ridgeland, Clinton and Vicksburg, working out of our Flowood shop. Call if you are near the edge of that list.
Can I finance a fiberglass pool?
Yes, through Lyon Financial for qualified homeowners. Start with a quote so the financing amount matches the install. See the pool financing page or mention it when you request a quote.
