Why Fiberglass Works in Rankin County
Central Mississippi soil moves. It swells when it is wet and shrinks when it is not, and that cycle is hard on a rigid structure. A fiberglass shell is a single molded piece with some flex in it, which handles that movement better than a jointed assembly does.

What the Site Visit Actually Covers
Access first. The excavator has to get in, the crane has to reach, and several tons of spoil has to go somewhere. A backyard that looks open from the patio door can be unreachable once you account for a fence line, a septic field or a neighbor's tree canopy, and finding that out on install day is expensive for everyone.
Then levels and drainage. Where the water sits relative to the house matters, and so does where the rain goes once you have replaced lawn with deck. We would rather solve that with grading and a drain in the plan than with a pump in year two.
Finally the surround: how much deck, what material, and what else you want out there eventually. Even if the kitchen or the pergola is a later phase, it is cheaper to run the conduit and the gas line while the ground is already open.
